Bequest contributions are vitally important to the long-term sustainability of the Potomac Conservancy and our efforts to protect the health, beauty, and enjoyment of the Potomac River and its tributaries.  Please consider including Potomac Conservancy in your estate plan.

The Conservancy is a member of Car Program LLC, a program that facilitates vehicle donations to charities. The process is simple and Car Program will even pick up your car! To donate or receive more information, call Car Program LLC at 1-800-513-6560 and explain that you would like to donate on behalf of Potomac Conservancy.

The information that you need to make a stock gift follows below.  You may also use the attached sample letter to instruct your broker how to proceed.  You can then send a copy of the letter to us to expedite gift processing and acknowledgement. To transfer securities you will need the following information:

4. Please be sure to notify Darcy Levit, Potomac Conservancy’s Director of Development, of your gift.  We need to know the number of shares and the name of the stock in order to properly acknowledge your contribution. 5. Wachovia will send us a statement within ten days of receipt of your gift, but the statement will not contain your name.  If you choose to send a letter to your broker along the lines of the attached sample, simply send a copy of the letter to Darcy to notify us of your gift.
